PLEASE JOIN THIS FIRM IN SUPPORTING
GARY HARRELL
FOR BREVARD COUNTY SHERIFF IN 2012!

In May of 2012, attorney Clarissa E. Harrell will enter her twentieth year of practicing law in Brevard County, Florida.  In August of 2002, she established her own law office near The Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore Justice Center in Viera, Florida.  She has concentrated her practice in the areas of family law and business litigation, handling the following types of cases:  contested and uncontested divorce; injunctions; child custody and visitation; child support establishment and enforcement; paternity; termination of parental rights; modifications of final judgments; adoptions; replevin; juvenile dependency; and contract disputes.

Ms. Harrell seeks to provide all clients with tailored, reasoned legal advice to advance both immediate and long-term client objectives.  She grounds her advice in the particular facts and applicable law of each case; in her specific experiences with the judges and opposing attorneys who may be involved with each case; with consideration of the realities of cost limitations and the inherent delays in the judicial process; and with a commitment to pursue reasonable settlement when possible, and aggressive litigation when settlement is not achievable on the client's terms.  In her experience, settlement is often brought within reach when litigation reveals facts and risks to the other side which affect its willingness to negotiate.

She was a member of the inaugural group of Brevard County attorneys who obtained training to practice in the area of Collaborative Law, an innovative process for resolving dissolution of marriage cases designed to reduce stress, costs, and hostility for divorcing parties.  She has handled many cases in this field of practice during the past three years.  For more information about Collaborative Law, please visit the Collaborative Association of Brevard's website,
